Maintenance Controller, Birmingham, £20-24k pa + comprehensive benefit



This large fleet maintenance company is recruiting for a maintenance controller to be based from their office in the Birmingham area. This is an interesting position in which you will have a wide range of responsibilities – ranging from ensuring value-for-money is received from various suppliers and service providers by negotiating rates and contracts, through to answering queries on the company’s company car helpdesk.



This position is ideally suited to someone from a vehicle technician background, who is looking for an office-based role.



You must have one of the following qualifications or equivalent: City and Guilds level 2 or above or NVQ level 3 in the service and repair of motor vehicles.



You should also have strong, proven experience of customer service, be computer literate, and have the ability to build strong working relationships with suppliers and colleagues.
